SOUTH AFRICAN SAFARIS

Our South African Safaris are offered each year March through October.  We can hunt in November through February, but typically try not to because of the heat!  We provide a concierge service with all our trips.  We start the process with each hunter and or group by selecting the trip dates from the US departure through the US return date.  We assist with all the details of domestic and international travel, any hotel stays along the way. 

Once the trip begins, our staff will either travel with you or meet you at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa as soon as you come through security.  Upon landing in Johannesburg, you will disembark the plane and follow the sign and fellow travelers to the passport control.  Once through passport control, you pick up your checked bags and proceed to the airport exit.  There’s only one way to go, so it’s easy to follow. Our staff will be waiting there once you exit the security section to escort you to the hotel in most cases for dinner, drinks, and welcome to South Africa visit with our staff.

The next morning, we’ll meet for breakfast and drive to camp.  We currently have 3 Lodges (camps) all of which are 3 to 4 hour drive from the airport.  Once at camp we’ll get you settled into your rooms, show you camp amenities and meet the staff.  We’ll have lunch, then shoot the guns at the ranch and set out for a sightseeing afternoon and even start hunting!  The evening will end at camp with appetizers and drinks before dinner with lots of fellowship.  Lots of fun telling stories of the day around the fire.

Mornings start off with hot coffee and a continental breakfast before heading out for the morning hunt.  We return to camp for lunch and a little relax and down time until the afternoon hunt and then back to camp for the evening meals and story telling.  

When possible we split the trip midway through and go to another one of our camps in a different area for the experience.  You get to experience diverse scenery, landscape, habitat and animals.  

At the conclusion of your hunt we will drive you to the airport and stop at a souvenir  shop along the way.  We’re with you the entire time!

Non-hunting excursions are available as well.  We do a taxidermy shop tour, sightseeing, curio shopping etc.
